Our Stance on Cosmetic Regulations
We use natural ingredients and formulate specifically around these known botanical elements, but as a company, we make zero claims regarding treatment, effectiveness, or healing any skin conditions.
We sell our products strictly as cosmetics under the guidelines of the U.S. Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA), the Canadian Food and Drugs Act, and the Canadian Cosmetic Regulations. We make zero claims of healing, correcting, altering bodily structure, or acting as a therapeutic treatment. Consequently, our products are classified strictly as cosmetics and do not require registration as Over-the-Counter (OTC) drugs, Non-Prescription Drugs, or Natural Health Products (NHPs).
We advise consumers to approach products making structural or medical healing claims without proper FDA or Health Canada drug/NHP labeling with caution, as they may not be operating within federal cosmetic regulations. We always suggest you consult with a medical professional if you have an active skin condition, as our products are not intended to replace professional medical advice.
Batch Variations
Because we use fresh, natural ingredients and avoid synthetics, formulas may vary from batch to batch. Natural variations can subtly change the texture, smell, and color of a specific batch—this is simply nature showing its live activity at play! If you notice your product looks, smells, or feels slightly different than a previous order, rest assured there is nothing wrong; it delivers the same intended cosmetic benefits. Over time, fresh ingredients may also naturally shift in color or consistency.

Child Safety & Formulation Integrity
Age Restriction: Our formulations are not suitable for infants or children under the age of four (4). We utilize pure essential oils, potent active herbs, and a specialized preservation system (containing trace Salicylic Acid) that are intended strictly for teen and adult skin barriers.
Shelf Life: With proper care and optimal storage conditions, this formula maintains a stable shelf life of 2+ years.
Storage: Since all our products are carefully crafted with pure ingredients, we advise our customers to keep the products at room temperature. Extreme temperatures will affect the product, and we also recommend not keeping the product in direct sunlight or near air vents. These situations could destabilize the formulas, causing them to degrade and spoil.
Containers: Transferring our products to previously used containers or unsterilized containers could result in contamination and spoilage.

Our products are not to be altered in any way! Please do not add essential oils, water, carrier oils, herbs, or anything else to the products. We carefully select each ingredient for each formula so it is compositionally cohesive and harmonious, utilizing a precise, down-to-the-gram preservative system to ensure the quality and longevity of the product. Adding any additional components could disrupt this balance, causing mold, spoilage, separation, pH changes, adverse skin reactions, or heightened fragrance and allergen sensitivities.
